Emma
Just wanted to share some pics from Emma's first week!
My dad was working in Europe when Emma was born, but he got lots of cuddle time when she was just a few days old!
Twinkies!
Two of my favorite people came to see us the weekend after we left the hospital! Cooper is so cute! He did NOT like Ashley holding Emma.
Oh my! Look at all of those wrinkles!
Presley's First Field Trip {Peeble's Farm}
On October 19th, Presley's Pre-K took a field trip to Peeble's Farm in Augusta. Nick drove the school bus! I couldn't believe that he volunteered for that one!

Presley Bowling
We took Presley bowling the weekend before we had Emma. I was a little sad that it would be our last weekend as a family of three, but we were so excited to meet our new addition!

Presley is 5! {10-29-12}
Presley had a cheerleader birthday party on Saturday, October 27th to celebrate her 5th birthday! It was windy and a little chilly outside. so we went to the school's gym and cafeteria for the party.
On Monday, I took cupcakes to the Pre-k. Presley wanted Hello Kitty!
Presley had to finish her work before we could leave.
I had to get a picture of Presley bugging Bryson before we left. She and all the other little girls have a crush on him!

Emma is One Month Old! {10-20-12}
I haven't had much time to blog about Emma because it requires two hands, and most of the time both of my hands are busy feeding, burping, patting, holding, and rocking Emma. In the short times that I am not taking care of her I am trying to get a shower, fold clothes, eat, or doing things for Presley.
One of the many tests that they run on newborns is called a Coombs' test, and Emma was positive, so they had to check her billi levels. They were at a six, so we had to go to Little Rock on Saturday to the pediatrician (after we had just been released Fri. afternoon). Her level was at 10 Saturday, so we had to go back on Monday. Her levels were at 13 on Monday, so we had her checked in Cabot Tuesday. The billi level was still at 13 on Tuesday, so we didn't have to go back! Her poor little feet were so bruised from all of that.
Her weight got down to 6lbs 5oz, but I had to take her back to the doctor on October 2nd, and she was back to 7lbs. I was going to just have to take her back for a weight check, but she had thrush. She had one round of Nystatin, and I thought we had gotten rid of it. By the next Friday I could tell that it was back, but we just got some gentian violet (recommended by doctor and pharmacist). It might be messy, but it very effective!
Emma is in size 1 diapers and some 0-3 month clothes and some newborn clothes although most of them are too short! She has started smiling at us a lot, but I haven't tried to catch it on camera. I've just been enjoying watching her!
