While daddy's away, the girls will play!

Nick had a baseball game tonight in Batesville, so Presley and I had some fun! We played dress up...

Looked at ourselves...
Ate dinner...
Took a bath...
Watched TV...
And went to sleep!

Gotta love those bows!

Presley went to the nursery today. She got to hang with Owen. I think the sitters were glad when we got out of church! We had a photo shoot when we got home, and I am pretty sure that Presley was laughing at the huge bow on her head. I told her that we have to compensate for her lack of hair. The doctor even asked when she was going to get some hair! She said it takes blonde babies a long time. That is fine, we have lots of big bows!

This is disgusting!

Let it Snow!

Today Presley got to see snow for the first time, and we built a snowlady (to be pc about it)! She tried to hijack one of the lifesavers on her snowsuit, but we caught her. Presley got her first "ouchie report" at daycare. Miss April stepped on her foot! She got lots of love I am sure, and her foot was fine. She might watch out next time Miss April comes by though!

Can't you smell that smell?

Since Presley turned four months old on Friday, we went to see Dr. Blair for her well baby visit! Turns out she was not a well baby after all! She had an ear infection, and it was my fault- why? Well, it sounds weird, but one day when I was holding Presley I thought that her ear smelled funny. Not bad, just a different smell. I told Nick to smell her ear, and he, of course, said "NO"! After I talked him into it, he told me that I was crazy and her ear didn't stink. Well, now I know that I should never listen to Nick when he tells me I am crazy. Her ear was stinky because it had puss in it, and the other one had mucus in it! I felt so bad, but the doctor said not to worry because how would I know if she was not fussing or running a temp. I would know because she had a stinky ear! Presley thought that she would get out of her shots thanks to the ear infection, but that was not the case. In fact, Dr. Blair told us that it could be better to get her shots now since her immune system was already revved up fighting that ear infection. Presley weighs 13 pounds and 12 ounces and is 2 foot 1!

Presley's rants~

Presley had a great first Valentine's Day. She had a cute outfit, but I didn't take a picture of her that morning. By the time I got to daycare, it had suffered some damage. It must have been pretty repulsive because they went ahead and washed it.

Presley had rice cereal on Friday. She really liked the spoon, but most of the cereal was on her bib. I even tried to trick her and give her a bottle while she had a mouthful, but the cereal seeped out anyway. We'll keep trying!

I took off of work Thursday to stay home with Presley because she was throwing up. She was happy though! Then Saturday came, and I was sick. Then Saturday night came, and Nick was sick. If we all had the same thing, Presley is much tougher than mommy and daddy are! I guess it was just a 24 hour thing because we are fine now. Just scared to eat =(

Presley has been eating more than milk these days- she is eating toys and pretty much anything else she can get in her mouth. She tried to eat Shorty (the dachshund) earlier. We are going to start on rice cereal next week! (Shorty is glad)
