Summer Fun

We got a blow up pool for our backyard, and we have been having so much fun in it! Thanks Nana Raine for the super-cute bathing suit!

Little Mama

Presley did the cutest thing today, and I just wanted to share it with you! My friend, Mary, gave Presley the cutest little baby doll for her birthday. Presley has hugged and kissed and rocked it, but she has never played with her for a long amount of time until today. I went to the doctor this morning, and Nick said that she carried her around this morning. She hugged and kissed her, and wanted Nick to do the same. When I got home, I asked if the baby had a dirty diaper, and Presley went and put her on the changing table. We changed her diaper, then the baby got hungry when Nick was eating, so she got in the high chair. Presley gave her a bottle, then she fixed her something to eat in her play kitchen and fed her with a spoon. When it was time for Presley to eat, she also fed the baby. Presley even took the baby's hands and made the baby sign more! Of coures, the baby got messy. I grabbed a couple of tissues to blow my nose, and Presley wanted one. She took the tissue, wiped the baby's face and both of her hands! It was so dang cute! Here is a picture of my baby and her baby sleeping!

Camping

We all went camping with my family over Memorial Day Weekend, and we had so much fun. Everything that we brought home is wet and dirty, but that is what camp is about! Presley had her first s'more, boat ride, and camp fire. She has started talking a lot lately. It is cute most of the time, but her vocabulary includes "no", "stop", "huh-uh", and "go". Those are used at the not-so-cute moments! She was eating goldfish in my mom's car the other day and said "more fish!" She also learned the words "wet" and "rain" at the lake!

5 More Days!

We have 5 more days until summer break! We are leaving Friday after work (the students leave at 10:15, and we leave as soon as we get everyone's grades turned in)to go camping at Lake Degray. We are really excited about it, so I think that this week may be the longest week ever!

Presley looked at her first National Geographic and ate her first corn on the cob!

Flower Child

Take some time to smell the flowers. Even the ones that might stink because they are weeds in your neighbor's overgrown yard. Presley does!
