Monday already?

Can you believe that it is Monday already? We can't! The weekends seem so much shorter when you have a baby. We had a great weekend because we got to see our parents! They sure do spoil Presley with lots of attention.

Much Better!

This is the sweetest picture from when Presley was sick. She loves taking naps with her daddy. She is feeling so much better, and she has been doing great at daycare. We are looking forward to the weekend because all of Presley's grandparents are coming to see us (Presley). Thanks for the prayers! We hope you have a wonderful and restful weekend.

Rough start...

Well, we had a rough start at daycare. She was not at daycare for a full week before we got a note that an infant in her rom had been diagnosed with RSV. That was pretty scary, but we knew there was nothing we could do. I went to pick Presley up on Monday, and I noticed she had a cough. We were scared that she had RSV so we took her to the dr. She told us Presley has a viral upper respiratory infection, and it just had to run its course. No medicine. We took her back to daycare on Thursday, and I had to go get her at 2 because she would not take a bottle, and she threw up. So, we took her back to the doctor Friday in hopes that there would be something that they could do for her since she was having a hard time breathing and threw up with about every other bottle. They did an xray to check for pneumonia, and a blood test to make sure it wasn't bacterial. It is a virus- no medicine. We hate viruses! Please pray that Presley gets well!

Presley goes to daycare...

Presley starts daycare on Monday, and I am so sad! I dropped off her paperwork and paid on Friday so that I wouldn't have to stick around any longer. I am scared that I am going to be balling! The daycare that Presley is going to has a great reputation, and I know that they are going to take care good of her. But somehow, none of those things make me feel any better =(

Enough about me- here Presley is taking a bath. She really loves bathtime now, and she really likes kicking those feet in the tub!

Happy 2008!

Hope everyone has a wonderful 2008! This year is going to be a year of firsts for us, and we can't wait. We took Presley in for her 2 month visit Monday morning. She got lots of shots! She seemed a little fussy, but she hasn't had any fever (thanks to Tylenol)! Well, here is a pic of her after her shots- those bandaids wrapped halfway around her legs! She weighed 11 lbs 15 oz, and is 23.5 inches long! She is in the 75th to 90th percentile in weight and the 90th percentile for length- aka- big, healthy baby!
