The funniest thing about the laptops is that they were sitting across the table from each other, and messaging each other on Facebook! It makes me feel old. I was thinking, back in the day, when I went to the beach, I swam!

Emerald Isle, NC

This is our destination today! We are headed from Greensboro, NC to Emerald Isle, NC. It is about a 3-4 hour drive, and SO worth it. It is beautiful! I love the ocean!

Our flight leaves tomorrow morning at 7:15. We have a layover in the ATL, then we are headed to Greensboro, NC. We should get there around 12:30. Sunday, we road trip it to the OBX.

Just sitting in the grass

We love our yard, and Nick takes great care of it (with help from Chem Lawn). He mows twice a week! Anyway, next week I'll be taking pictures of that cutie sitting in the sand!

Nick makes me mad

Do you see that tan? Ugh. I will never have that tan. I hope Presley is somewhere in the middle. I love freckles (on other people). I hope she has some, but I hope that her nickname isn't Casper (that was mine for a while). So, I hope that she can get a tan and freckles- like my punk little brother.

Last Thursday we visited Christy Hollingshead and had her take some pics of Presley. We also took a few family shots. I get to go view them July 3rd, and I can't wait. We could see them sooner, but we will be at the beach! Too bad- huh? Presley had lots of wardrobe changes ~6 I think! Here is one of them. I think I may have worn the same thing back in '83!

New House

Presley got a house for Christmas, but we thought that she was way too young to live by herself. Now that she can crawl and pull up, we decided she could use a new house.

Outside

We chill on a blanket outside a LOT! Presley is mesmerized by everything. It also helps that there is really nothing to pull up on (except for us)!

Blackberry

I lost my phone at the mall a few weekends ago, and I got a new Blackberry Curve. I have no idea why they call them Crackberries, but Presley really seems to like it.

Rock star

Presley liked the rocking chairs at Cracker Barrel. I am not sure, but I think it was the Razorback red that did it! She also liked rocking out with her Uncle Will.

Presley's Mom's Dad's Dad

Presley met her great-grandpa and great-grandma for the first time. We went to Cracker Barrel for dinner, and Presley was so tired she fell asleep in her highchair!

Goodness Gracious

We have been busy! Nick has already started football workouts, practices, tournaments, etc., and he is also coaching a pony league (baseball) team. That means that I can't post as much as I would like. Presley is crawling on all fours instead of the army crawl, and she pulls up on everything and anything. That means I cannot turn my head to look at my computer because I have to keep one eye on her at all times! I am going to start scheduling posts- they will have taken place the week before, but better late than never!
