Finally!

We made it home!!! Yesterday, our flight was supposed to leave NC at 9:50 AM, but due to "computer issues", we took off at 10:50 AM. We missed our connection in Atlanta, and we were on standby for the whole day! We got to the gate at 12:15 (the time our flight left), but the flight was closed. That was okay because there was another flight LR bound at 2:30. Full. 4:30. Full. We had great hopes for the 6:30 flight until people came running to the gate. I have never wanted to trip someone so bad in my life. After the 6:30 was full, we decided we were not waiting for the 9:30 to be told that it was full. We hung our heads and went to get a hotel room, but wait! We were confirmed for the 9:30 PM flight and didn't even know! We got our meal vouchers, ate, and made it to the gate in plenty of time! Here is a view of ATL. I don't mind if I never step foot in its concourses again! (BTW- every flight was from a different concourse at the end of the concourse) It is good to be home!
