Big News

Nick is now the Athletic Director and Head Football Coach at DA! I am so proud of him, and I am excited for what God has in store for our family!

Presley's Room

I thought that I would give you guys a tour of Presley's room this week. I might interrupt this tour to announce the BIG news we have coming this week! I hope you enjoy :)

This is Presley's changing table. Those yellow chicks at the top of the shelf are Easter baskets that I couldn't put up. They are too cute! I love the picture frame from Nana Raine, the monogrammed block with all of her "stats" on it, and the pink pocket Bible. I hope she keeps those forever. There is also a delightfully tacky one year party hat complete with feathers, and a birth announcement. I also see a baby bottle underneath in case you were wondering! The big white thing to the right is our Diaper Champ. It is great, but there are some odors that you cannot hide.

More Please

This is Presley after she ate some yogurt and banana. Nick fed her and got her out of her highchair. I guess she wanted some Cheerios. She climbed up on the chair and grabbed the box.

Presley is trying to use a fork these days. She does well with chicken, but her rice seems to disappear!

Duck Hunting

I am glad that I grew up with a dad that brought home dead animals and taught me to do the same. Otherwise, my husband might gross me out.

I am going duck hunting for the first time Friday. I asked if I could go, and I was granted permission. I may never ask again, but I am excited about it. I have a Benelli 20-gauge, and I have never killed anything besides a clay pigeon with it. I am going with 5 men. Pray for me.

Daycare Christmas: Cleanfreaks Beware

I usually do not post photos of other people's children, but these are hilarious. Of course Luke and Makayla were there, and our friend and neighbor Stueart. Santa showed up late, but these guys didn't seem to mind! You have to click "View All Images" to really appreciate the mess.

My camera makes stop-motion video, so I had to create something. Here is my first claymation video. Probably the last too. I know you are disappointed. I do have a tripod now though. That would have helped!
