Here is a video of Presley and Emma making some pinkie promises. So sweet!

Emma's First Bath
Emma had her first bath when she was 2 weeks old. She was not this calm once we took her out! She went through a period where she screamed every time she had a bath, but she doesn't mind them now. She likes to chew on her bath toys and loves to take baths with big sister!

Halloween (a little overdue)
In true princess style, Presley had to have a wardrobe change on Halloween. She was Dorothy in the morning. Nana Raine bought this costume for her for her birthday. She wanted it so bad! She has never seen the Wizard of Oz, but I'm pretty sure Toto was the reason she loved it. The preschool went trick-or-treating around town, and had a party when they got back. I don't think I took any pictures!
Presley wanted to dress as Merida from Brave to go out that evening. Emma was Ariel from the Little Mermaid. We are so blessed to have two sweet princesses!
Our friends, the Prescotts, came over to go trick-or-treating. Payne was the cutest referee. So fitting since his dad is the football coach.
We went to our church for games. They always have a big fall festival. This picture cracks me up. I didn't think anything about it then, but seeing Presley throw darts and Emma's head being right there is a little scary.

Spring Break and 6 Months
The weekend before spring break we took a trip to Little Rock and picked up a big swing set for our girls. That week we had the kids that were in shop classes come over and put it together! Best idea ever! They did a fantastic job, and Presley and Emma couldn't wait to play!
Saturday was a beautiul day! It was warm and sunny and I got to dress the girls in matching Carter's play clothes. Nana Raine came to play with us and we had a great day!
On Monday I went and got the big kids from Miss Judy's to try to give her a little break. We watched Wreck-it-Ralph, ate popcorn and candy, and decorated Easter cookies.
Emma turned 6 months old on Wednesday! She is such a sweet baby! She had to go to the doctor a couple of weeks ago (pink eye) and she weighed 16 pounds and 3 ounces. She rolled from her back to front when she turned 5 months old, and she has been eating solids since 4 months. She eats so well, and she isn't picky! She loves green beans as well as sweet potatoes, but she doesn't seem to care for bananas. She is particular, however, about her formula. She won't take powdered formula, so we buy the premixed. The other day I decided to get the gentle formula for gas (same brand just different formula) and she would NOT take it! She prefers breastmilk, but at least she will take something else! She loves to be held, and she has to see you at all times. She has found her voice recently and likes to shriek and yell as soon as she wants anything. Emma still wakes up at least once a night. She gets a stuffy nose in the middle of the night, and it wakes her up. Hopefully she will get rid of the congestion soon. Emma loves her mommy and daddy, but she absolutely lights up when she sees Presley!
On Friday, Emma's babysitter was recovering from a minor surgery. Each of the moms took turns taking off so that we all didn't have to take off everyday. Presley stayed home so that she could play with Cane. They had fun playing outside for most of the day. I took this picture at naptime of the only children awake (mine) (of course).
I got a jogging stroller that I've been wanting so Emma and I have been walking while Presley rides her bike. One afternoon we went to the park and the next we went to the library.
We ran to Cabot on Wednesday and ate breakfast at Waffle House. We ran some errands and stopped at a park for a little while.

Back in the Swing
I can't believe how long it has been since I blogged, but I have been a little busy and overwhelmed! We moved and that is a looong process even though it was only one block away. We are getting settled, but we have lots to do. I also went back to work, and honestly I have been living in the moment and being present and not behind a camera.
I have a lot of catching up to do, but I will start with what's been going on lately.
Sunday Presley and my mom and I went to Cirque de Soleil in Little Rock. It was so weird, but in a good way. Very artistic. Presley just wanted cotton candy and lemonade, but when we went to the concession stand the guy said, "The only things we don't have are cotton candy and lemonade." Poor girl.

Emma is such a sweet girl! We just love watching her grow and change everyday. She is 5 months old, and she is a great eater, she has a beautiful smile, a calm disposition, and a low requirement for sleep. Emma rolled from her stomach to her back on January 20th (4 months to the day), and she rolled from her back to stomach February 21st. She is trying to creep forward, but doesn't go anywhere!
